The Office of Industrial Relations are consulting with stakeholders on the draft Self-Insurers Performance and Audit Framework.

ASIEQ will be preparing a submission to the OIR in relation to the documents above.  If you have any comments, questions or concerns, please email them to our Secretariat by COB, Friday 22 November 2019.

We also encourage members to lodge individual submissions by the due date of COB Wednesday 4 December 2019.  OIR have prepared a feedback template to assist with submissions which you can access here.

ASIEQ Annual General Meeting

Members are invited to attend the 2019 Annual General Meeting. The meeting will be held:

Where: Burke Room, Mercure Hotel, 85-87 North Quay, Brisbane

2019 Excellence in Workplace Rehabilitation Awards

The 2019 ARPA QLD Excellence in Workplace Rehabilitation Awards will be held on Thursday 14 November at The Emporium, Southbank. Nominations are due by close of business Monday 15 July 2019.

Nominations for the 2019 Innovation in Return to Work Award are now open. Entries are encouraged from individuals or companies who have delivered an innovative approach to RTW within the QLD workers’ compensation industry in the categories of Insurer or Employer.

The Safe Work and Return to Work Awards 2019 are now open

The Safe Work and Return to Work Awards recognise and celebrate outstanding work health and safety and return to work achievements

By entering you can:

  • be acknowledged and raise your profile as a leader in work health and safety and rehabilitation and return to work
  • win a share of $24,000 in prize money
  • share solutions and network with other work health and safety and rehabilitation leaders
