Alice Fung

Alice Fung, Recovre National Service Delivery Manager (Life Insurance), is an Occupational Therapist with over 20 years experience in health and rehabilitation. Alice is passionate about people’s health and wellbeing and in particular brain health, mental health and cancer recovery and return to work. Alice has previously presented at conferences at Occupational Therapy Australia and Cancer Institute NSW on topics about refugee health, cancer and mental health. Alice is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD) and is a non-executive director and chair in clinical governance for a not-for-profit Community Care service provider in the Western Sydney area.

Kathy Hubble

Kathy Hubble, Amelio Health Chief Executive Officer, has a passion for pain medicine and patient care which was sparked while working as a Registered Nurse in 1994 in a high dependency surgical ward, looking after critically ill patients and their post operative pain management. Kathy was driven to learn more about this speciality and achieved the role of Clinical Nurse Specialist in pain management, while completing studies in Acute Pain Management and her Masters degree in Pain Medicine.

As a Clinical Nurse Consultant in Pain Management Kathy worked with many pain specialists and multidisciplinary teams in all aspects of acute and chronic pain management.

Motivated to take her career to the next level and continue making an impact within the industry, Kathy pursued private practice and opened a private Pain Clinic in the Southern Highlands NSW, and also embarked on a degree in psychology.

Kathy then transitioned into the life insurance industry and quickly started to understand the problems associated with chronic pain and claims management. She was elevated into a Return To Work Technical Specialist role within TAL and then moved to a Senior Claims Assessor role at Munich Re Australia. Within this role she was able to hone her skills of return to work, and received the CEO award after 3 months.

In 2020 Kathy launched Amelio Health, with the support of one of the largest rehabilitation companies in Australia and New Zealand, Recovre. Amelio Health offers a “Pain Team In The Pocket” for people everywhere and anywhere.
