ASIEQ Quarterly Members Forum

The Quarterly ASIEQ Members meeting and professional development forum will be held from 9am-12noon on Wednesday 21 August 2024.  These meetings are for ASIEQ Members and Associate Members only.

ASIEQ Members are invited to a special general meeting which will include the presentation of finacial accounts for 2022/23 and the appointment of an auditor for 2023/24.

Documents will be emailed to members for reading prior to the meeting.

Following the Special General Meeting, a professional development session will be held with the following presentataions.

Audits – a balanced viewpoint
Sue Richardson – Auditor and Claims Management Consultant

Sue, brings 20+ years’ experience across Workers’ Compensation, Injury Management, Self-Insurance licencing and Workplace Health & Safety. With a foundation in Human Resource Management, she has developed a balanced approach in the delivery of services through customer excellence and risk mitigation.

Working across various industries, including finance, retail, aviation and the transport sector, Sue has developed an extensive insight into business operational requirements.

Both Tegan and Paul look after teams that specialise in managing Chapter 4A eligible workers.

Lorraine McIlwain
Specialist Lead Allied Health 

Lorraine began her career as a Registered Nurse, specialising in cardiothoracic intensive care. She has since built a diverse career across New South Wales and Queensland, working with leading insurers in workers’ compensation, compulsory third party, and income protection. A highlight of her career was serving as a rehabilitation provider, where she helped severely injured individuals reintegrate into their communities, igniting her passion for supporting the most vulnerable post-injury.

In recent years, Lorraine has excelled in management and senior leadership roles, guiding injury management and project teams. She is currently the Specialist Lead for Allied Health at WorkCover Queensland.
