The Quarterly ASIEQ Members meeting and professional development forum will be held from 9am-12noon on Wednesday 21 August 2024.  These meetings are for ASIEQ Members and Associate Members only.

ASIEQ Members are invited to a special general meeting which will include the presentation of finacial accounts for 2022/23 and the appointment of an auditor for 2023/24.

Documents will be emailed to members for reading prior to the meeting.

ASIEQ will be holding the inaugural Queensland Self Insurer Awards as part of the 2024 Conference.  Self Insurance is a niche sector and there are few opportunities to recognise our hard working team members.  ASIEQ encourage you to nominate your star team members so our Industry can recognise their outstanding performance.

ASIEQ August Forum

Members are invited to the August forum.  Our meeting will be held in the offices of MinterEllison.  Details are:

The professional development session will include important information on:
  • MAT Referral Guidelines for Insurers training,
  • Qld workers’ compensation scheme trends with OIR’s data and evaluation services,
  • the Respect at Work  training for workers’ compensation bodies, and
  • a general update which will include the Audit Tool review, 5 year scheme review, MAT timeframes and information on the Workers’ Compensation Regulator.
